# What is the difference between prompts and custom fields?

## A. Prompts are instructions for summaries, and custom fields are items for CRM integration.

* **Prompts**: Instructions for meeting summaries. They direct the AI on what content to output and in what format.
  * Example: Output in the order of decisions / ToDos / discussion points
  * Example: Include assignees and deadlines for each ToDo
* **Custom Fields**: Define items (input fields) for integration with CRMs like Salesforce.
  * Example: Opportunity name, product name, deal stage
