# What Happens When Storage Reaches Its Limit?

<Note>The behavior differs based on the automatic addition settings. By default, automatic billing will occur.</Note>

## A. Depending on the settings, either automatic billing or data writing will be blocked.

### When Automatic Addition is ON (Default)

* When the storage limit is reached, additional storage options to cover the shortfall will be **automatically purchased and added**.
* The additional unit is 100GB (20,000 yen/month).

### When Automatic Addition is OFF

* The moment the storage limit is reached, data addition and uploads will be **systematically blocked**.
* It will enter a "read-only" state where only viewing, downloading, and deleting are possible.

### Pre-Alert Notifications

Alert emails will be sent progressively when the storage usage reaches the following percentages:

* **80%** reached
* **90%** reached
* **95%** reached

Additionally, a pre-notification email will be sent **one week** and **the day before** automatic billing occurs.
