Overview

To utilize the recording feature, the recording bot must be present in the meeting. This page explains how to have the bot join and the maximum recording time allowed.

Procedure

There are two methods to have the bot join the meeting.

Method 1: Use Calendar Integration (Automatic Joining)

  1. Set up the calendar integration in advance.
  2. At the meeting start time, the bot will automatically attempt to join the meeting URL.
  3. Click “Approve” displayed in the meeting to allow the bot to join.
If you do not click “Approve,” the bot will not be able to join. Please perform the approval operation before joining.

Method 2: Manually Join from the Meeting Page

  1. Open [Meetings].
  2. Click the [+ New Meeting] button.
  3. Enter the meeting URL and press the “Create” button.
  4. The bot will join the meeting approximately 2 minutes later.
It takes about 2 minutes to join. Please perform the operation well in advance of the meeting start time.

Notes

  • The maximum recording time is 3 hours (180 minutes). After 3 hours, the bot will automatically leave the meeting.
  • When the bot leaves, the recording will stop. Recordings longer than 3 hours cannot be made.
  • Once 3 hours have passed, the recording file up to that point will be automatically saved.
